Eager "Mom of 6" (BFE, AR) We bought the Lil Quad for our second to youngest child who's almost 2. He's kind of short, so I am sure he'll get tons of use out of it. We bought two larger quads for his older brothers and the smaller one for him. He loves going out with the 'big boys'. The button power on the steering wheel works out great for little hands. He hasn't quit got steering down yet, but it won't be long before he figures it out. It was very easy to put together and a snap to charge. Its small enough for him (and our 3 year old) to use in the house. The biggest problem I am having is keeping him from pushing it. For what we paid for it, its a great buy and great introduction to battery ride-ons. By Jennifer L. Grattan "Happy Grandma" (Farmington, NY USA) We bought this item for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. It is easy to learn to drive for a 3 year old. She gives her 1 year old brother rides in it, and he sits still while his big sister drives. She has pretty much mastered the stearing. The radio is great too. It comes in clear, and has the ability to scan for stations. It has velcro, pretend, seatbelts which is a fantastic learning tool. The children know they can't drive/ride in it until the seatbelts are fastened. Everything works wonderfully. We have a large, grassy, yard. It has a lot of bumps in it, and the Barbie Jammin' Jeep has no problems moving about in it. I highly recommend this product, especially for a 3 year old. We are undecided who has more fun...the children driving/riding in it, or the grandparents watching it. By Leah My son got this for his 2nd birthday and loves it. He can reach the pedals fine and is able to ride around without much assistance, but hasn't quite got the hang steering yet. I like that it has a slower speed especially for his age and we can adjust it to go faster when he gets older. My other 2 kids, 10 and 8, have also taken it for a spin, but it does definately slow it down. It seems pretty durable. |
